Arrrrrrrrgh Little Pirates!

We visited Captain Ron's restaurant at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri on our Filla family vacation in August. When you enter the restaurant, there is a sign that says that "anyone that proceeds past this point is now a pirate". Joel really believes that we are now a family of pirates. Here are pictures of Captain Ron's from our trip and the boys in their pirate hats and patches.

So, all 3 kids are pirates for Halloween this year. There has been a lot of "Arrgh matie!" and "Shiver me timbers" talk around here. Joel says he is Captain Hook and that I can be Mr. Smee. :) Shannon made all the costumes with the hats from Captain Ron's and a few added accessories. Here are me pirates!

Noah 3rd birthday is coming up in just a couple of weeks. He's full of energy!

Joel

Joel turned 5 in July and started Kindergarten this year. Jason took these awesome photos of the kids!

We're having a baby!

Most of our friends and family already know...we're having a baby! Baby girl is due November 26th, the day after Thanksgiving. We decided to start blogging again to share photos, news, and the growing of our Hedges. :)

For those that read our previous blog, Hedges Adoption, we wanted to start a new blog for this new chapter in our life.

I've been taking lots of photos of Shannon and the kids, so many more to come!
