Colorado: Day 4

We spent part of our fourth day in Colorado hanging around the house and taking our family photo. Joel and I enjoyed playing angry birds together at the house.

The house had a really nice deck that overlooked the mountains. We gated off the steps and let Lydia play on the deck while we sat in the chairs.

Yes, I enjoyed smoking on the deck!

The kids enjoyed playing in the rocks and dirt around the house.

Here is one of the family photos we took. We setup my camera on a tripod and used a remote to snap the photos. It's hard to get everyone to look at the camera when no one is behind it!

Happy Halloween! We enjoyed several nights of activities including a party at our neighbor's house on Saturday, trunk-or-treat at our church on Sunday and trick-or-treating tonight in our neighborhood. All the costumes were homemade by Shannon. She did a great job! We now have tons of candy and hyper kids to prove it. :)

Colorado: Day 3

Here are photos from Day 3 of our Colorado trip. We went to Mueller State Park and enjoyed a long hike. We completely wore the kids out by the time we got to the far end of the trail so it took a lot of encouragement to get them all back to the car. We mentioned in an earlier post that Noah got sick on the first day. After we left the State park, Lydia got sick in the car and was sick for a while that evening.
